JUST HEAR ME OUT - Unpopular opinion, but as someone who usually don't like these step-sibling romances, I'm not uncomfortable or creeped out by their romance. I think for siblings that did not grow up from the beginning, they need time to build that sibling bond. But the issue here is, from the beginning, neither saw each other as siblings. For Ray, Lucian was her bias and someone she wanted to protect, and for Lucian, she was someone who for the first time showed him affection. He never knew what a family is, so when they were children, it is clearly shown that he didn't really label her as someone; he just liked spending time with her as it was his only source of comfort and happiness. Tbh, there was nothing creepy in their interactions when they were children; he was naturally overprotective of her since she was the only person who loved and cared about him, they were more like two close friends. And even after she came back from South villa, even though we now saw that he had feelings for her, he himself didn't know about it and went even as far as researching Noah to see if he would be good for her. Like only after she came out of age we saw him dozing off looking at her, being mesmerized by her beauty etc. there were never such scenes before when they were kids.
Maybe her calling him "big brother" threw a lot of people off, but I think that's the translation issue. I wish they would stop translating Korean honorifics, bc brother is not an accurate translation for oppa since you can call your lover oppa as well.
