Yes but from ehat I remember (I read novrl passages a long time ago), in every universe they end up together....sure it's like MC from universe 1 with ML from universe 2 and vise versa but they end up with each other....I'm not fully on board with the author's vision because I would rather each of them heals and ends up with another person, but I respect the author's decision
If I were the author, I wouldn't have gone the route of having these two get together in this alternate universe but hey, what do I know...I'm a passive consumer and I don't have any control over this so, I'll take the author's creative vision for what it is and drop this if it becomes too much for me
