Yesss! There should have been scenes where he expresses small bits of disgust around the topic here and there. But not so much where it’s in our face. So that when It all comes to light, it feels in character for alexis

Ok so ot was mention BUT did the duke tell him? Bc in the latest chapter he said that the MC knew and if the duke didn't twll him then he would not have reason to belive that MC knew about it unless it's a public matter that everyone knows?
Not sure if it’s a public thing everyone knows, since I think Eugene only knows because he read the novel, but from the way it is worded it gave me more of it being a rhetorical question.
“Did you know I hate prophets? I bet you did” his thought process is probably that Eugene didn’t say anything about being a prophet because as a prophet Eugene already knows he hates prophets (real or not).
Just my thoughts, really.
Or maybe he just figured if Eugene didn’t know he hated prophets he would have mentioned the event that was going to happen, since he didn’t say anything he must know that the duke hates them.
Alexis hating prophets should have been something mentioned earlier, not now out of the blue??? Like now it just feels like the author added this to create some drama in the story
