Meh, not my preference it's a good read if you like this kind of art but judging by how it is by the plot her fate is already predetermined. It is especially highlighted when she meets the duke for the first time, by the birds. It's a symbolism for her freedom that no matter how she ran away she will always be unable to free herself from him. Especially the canary scene, it's yellow just like her hair but all canary is that kind of color but for the sake of symbolism it will be just like her. She will always fall at the hands of the duke, and just like the canary the duke will tame her to always fly to him no matter what. She escaped her childhood's hellish life but she entered a new hell but this time it will be by the hands of the duke.
