You know, after reading back the previous chapters, I believe I can see it being the most upsetting for him to not see Leo up there! Because he became a fan due to enjoying seeing Leo having fun driving! So seeing him avoid public after a race is a clear indication that he’s definitely not enjoying something he usually loves! And that can be upsetting for J.J. because he still loves Leo. Seeing the previous chapters made me realize how he’s not being honest with himself and Leo about what he really feels and wants. He’s making mistakes and will only live to regret them.
