Yeah you will come to a certain point where you wish that you can gouge your eyes out because you will cry a lot. Either way I recommend this to everyone.
Um should I be concerned? I started reading this but I found it boring so I stopped at 20 chapters, after this I'm not sure if I should continue
The story is more of plot focus than smut. It covered a lot of aspects like homophobia, racism, gaslight, murder & psychopath, the dark side of entertainment industry, drugs, etc.
It may be not everyone taste because author put a lot of conflicts. Couple itself is seke/switch.
I do find dark heaven really good, but maybe you don't like some point/aspect of the story that can't motivate you to continue to read and that's okay. Like you don't like the slow progress or just doesn't like artstyle. Story isn't sorrowful like 10 years I love you the most or a way of parting, but more like everyday struggles that could lead to depression and sadness.
