I don't think so. He was clearly almost contacting him, having bought a cake and all. At one point he wouldn't have given up. Chitose was simply faster
I mean, he was already eating the cake ... pretty sure he wasn't gonna contact Chitose ... probably just wallow himself in sadness.
Yeah he gave up THIS year. but I'm convinced at one point he would've had enough and instead of eating the cake by himself he would've contacted him. My theory is solely based on that you simply don't order a whole cake with a name and all just to have a 0% chance of not contacting the birthday person
no cuz at that point id just not contact him out of spite like why did he not try to communicate and explain
i didn’t even notice the cake but if he was already eating it then yeah i don’t think he planned on contacting chitose this year again
did they mention how long it’s been since their argument and the last time they talked? i’m assuming it’s been more than 2 years no? so you’re saying if chitose didn’t have this moment of courage they would’ve fr just not talked for the rest of their lives
