I think it’s quite realistic for the times this is taking a place in, especially for this amount of children. Death during pregnancy was pretty common. There are some manhwas with mothers too, though yeah I also wish there was more. However, it’s not unrealistic for them not to be there.

Yeah, women still sometimes die from birth even in this age. Society doesn’t really teach just how dangerous or impactful a pregnancy really can be, it just shows a fantasy of it. But it would still be nice to see more webtoons with mothers.
To be fair, they all were probably more raised by their nanny rather than their father. However, he seems like one of the better ones, usually in these stories (besides daughters) fathers are just straight up neglectful.

Despite my love for father children bonding trope doesn't mean there shouldn't be any woman or mother besides the workers and an old woman ╥﹏╥ i fr thought the woman in the earlier chapter is someones mom n will take the mother figure role but it seems like she's just an extra （￣へ￣） the woman who got her castle burned in the first life. She seemed nice
