I would almost certainly bet this has a happyish ending.
Frankly they're like the toxic version of the the 'in the doghouse'-couple because neither of them have realized that he needs someone to break his profoundly dysfunctional ego. They'd both be a lot happier if she strapped him to a bed and beat him till he re-learns how to cry.

But I agree a THOUSAND percent on the breaking of his ego, just crack it down the middle like a glow stick. So sad that the writing always has to end with them together for these kinds of stories smh, and with barely any character development
I remember this story well but what I don’t remember is the spoilers on if they end up happy or not but my main hope is if they get together that she isn’t happy and it’s a bitter ending and they don’t fix it so it’s happy BC FUCK THAT THERE IS TOO MUCH TRAUMA
