If an uke is crushing on someone for years it's obvi he is a virgin(9/10 times). But that is not the case for semes who has a crush on someone for that long. He would def sleep around or go on to date/marry someone who looks similar to the uke.

Hey there.. the story is a bit more nuanced than that. The ml liked the mc for years but the mc loved his younger brother. So he gave him space and dated other ppl cause he never thought it'd work out. But when the ml developed a red string connection with the mc, he immediately broke up with current bf and fought hard to have a relationship with the mc, since the string offered him a chance.
The mc never slept around cause he was so focused on his crush on the ml's younger brother. He bemoaned that in later chalters.
I mean, in real life also there are people who love another person but still sleep around cuz of their physical needs.
And if we talk about the story I truly doesn't like the seme at all. He is very calculative and able to manage to manipulated MC. Atleast that's how I feel.
