Every once in a while i stumble across manga panels that blow my mind and I spend hours staring at the screenshots of those panel wondering how a human was able to draw that. this one did such a goood job at portraying what It was meant to portray.
by the end when nakoshi could only see most people with his own face he could still see Itou normally, probably because Itou, the minor highschool girl, yakuza guy were among the few people who were able to "overcome" what they were avoiding. that just made itou's death slightly more emotional because right before the death he said he was sorry , he accepted the consequences of him drilling a hole in nakoshi's head and him just crying while hugging and saying sorry was ; w ;
