I actually felt so bad for gun he never really wanted to kill people he just wanted to be loved but look how the ppl who were supposed to love n care for him treated him, even his own mother told him to kill n follow the Yamazaki line for her own selfishness.
Okay, change of topic but am I the only one that's wondering what's actually Charles Choi's plan cs no way that he died like that n I really am thinking that he has a other body as well.
I don’t really think he promised him anything tbh I think Gun is kinda blindly loyal towards him and that’s the part of his backstory I’m really waiting for. What makes him so attached to that man? It’s definitely not about money, he was straight up furious when Charles was in danger. There must be something to it, maybe he became his healthier father figure? I really don’t know, but whatever it was I think that’s why he took all the blame. Out of loyalty more than some promise
Honestly, I was shocked they even remembered her. There is a huge plot hole with her, last time I remember her appearing was during the whole live stream fiasco, she was looking into it and there was no progress shown afterwards. Honestly, the only thing I don’t like about Lookism is their female characters, such bad writing. They are either the typical sexualized “damsels in distress” or they are actually strong but get NO screen time at all. Crystal is one of his geniuses, and we barely saw her in action. It’s rather disappointing
I agree. Most of the main leads are males although there are quite some females who play a big part however their piece in the chapters sometimes are not that pleasant to read. On the other hand I hope we can see a bit more of Charles Choi's daughter and the other females in the upcoming chapters, along with small Daniel's improvement. I was glad that the creator started to show Daniel's main body more in the chapters cause now he's not only relying one his second body anymore.
Tbh, even if some women play a bigger part they barely fight or have any presence later on. In other works apparently the author writes female characters well so I’m confused why is Lookism so bad with that? People try to make an excuse of “if girls were in the fights then this would get cancelled” when a lot of other action webtoons have them with no issues or scandals. Also, I’m glad too that small Daniel isn’t always relying on his other body as well. I also like that he had Gun as a teacher
Author really never draws people to look their age
Honestly, it’s natural, but even Gun wanting to be loved and normal at some point, is quite surprising side to see of him. Since we always see him as either a block of ice or a crazy psychopath. I’m glad we are finally getting his backstory, I was so curious about him. No wonder he is the way he is with the environment he grew up in. I kinda hope he doesn’t kill his cousin, and what made him snap would be someone else killing him, but with Gun u never know. I also really want to see why he was so loyal to Charles
