She doesn't become the mc. She's the childhood friend of the mc and the world keeps reminding her. She has really good friends however so it all works out even if she's treated as canon fodder by the narrative sometimes lol.
Then, on a particular day she wakes up in her original world for a bit. From that she learns that each period ahead she will cross back over to her world with even worse parents and no friends. It becomes an existential problem for her, knowing she loves her new life but how close she is to losing it all the same. She worries she won't be able to cross back. So she finally breaks down and tells her friends.
Stuff happen blablabla and she gets stuck for a couple weeks. Depressing stuff, but she's back! Huzzah. Now she has a loving boyfriend and shenanigans ensue.
As far as Isekai go this one really feels different. It's slightly slice of life but it touches on some mature topics very lightly and nice. The mc is also just someone you end up rooting for. I hate dumb people and mediocre MC's but with her you empathize yk? I really hope she lives out a good life
dropped this a long time ago cause the progress was slow af. dont even remember how the story was and the characters. but all i remember is that the mc got sent to a game/novel and somehow she became the mc of that. (correct me if im wrong)
