Oh brother...

SPOILER:

———

I really hope this adaptation differs from the novel in some parts. After reading the novel, I was honestly disappointed with how the ML trapped the main character into pregnancy at the very end. From what I remember (though I skimmed, so sorry if I’m mistaken), there are only two intimate scenes in the novel. The first is in chapter 6 as seen here, which is legit non-consensual, and the second is near the end of the novel… arguably even worse, the ML tricks the MC by giving him the flower without his knowledge, just to get him pregnant. That part really put me off. So, I’m just really hoping this adaptation takes a different direction from the novel as I’ve seen some other adaptations do, cause bro the art is so pretty imo

wait why does he want to do that? is it because he's "inlove" with him so he wants to do that to him? (Can't put a spoiler warning so I'm trying to keep my questions vague)

I hope so, too. After reading the novel, I was hoping there’d be some kind of development, but it just got arguably more questionable. Fingers crossed the adaptation changes a few things.

Yeah, it’s more of a possessive kind of love. He treats the MC more like a possession than an actual lover lol as soon as MC thought of leaving it just.. took that route!

Just like i guessed... BL Male Leads always go the extra messy route to keep them from leaving instead of just becoming a good person and partner lol

OMG YES. Literally I could see from a mile away what he was gonna do when they were in that forest and I felt like I wasted an hour reading that book all for it to end up like this. Really hoping they take another approach and maybe a redemption arc because the original is just disgust and so disappointing.
