I am. But I'm not saying that Javier is bad and Rashta is good. I think Rashta is terrible! She is greedy and a bad person, but of course I pity someone who was a fucking slave! That is inhuman, she endured countless tortures and her lover betrayed her and they took her baby away from her.of course she is awful and mentally unstable! Honestly I don't blame her, I would hate the world too. But the thing is, if she hadn't been out in positions of power, she wouldn't have been able to do harm. The one truly responsible here is Sovieshu! Like this girl didn't know how to read and spoke of herself in third person! Of course she is not in her right mind, who would even think of 1) exposing her to court 2) giving her power.
The one in charge of protecting the empire and that had to defend Javier was Sovieshu. The one who cheated was Sovieshu. The one who gave power to an idiot was Sovieshu, all because he was horny. When we meet Rashta she has been living in uncivilized conditions, not even knowing how to behave because no one taught her better.
This man's best idea is to present her in court??? He is the one that should be hanged. Rashta is not blameless, of course. But if tomorrow a president out in charge of the military a crazy person and that person starts world war 3, imof course the crazy person should also be held accountable, but they are a crazy person. The one who bears most of the guilty is the president, the one who broke their duty
Honestly, I don’t understand why Navier is being blamed. Instead of blaming Rashta for her actions, she chose what to do and what to say. Her actions got consequences and now she gotta deal with it. She wanted to become navier. She didn’t wanna be friends with her. It’s literally proven throughout the story and the novel. I just don’t get why Navier is getting the heat.
