Im not excusing her bad decisions, she should suffer the repercussions of these, but I dont think she deserves the worst life. She was saved, used as a new toy and dropped by Sovieshu. I think the empress herself didnt completely hate her and wish the worst for her. She understood Rashtas naivete would come and bite her back in the future and genuinely pitied her.

I dont think Rashta deserves a horrible life. The one who should be punished is Sovieshu. She did what she could with the little knowledge she had of the world considering her tragic background and unfortunate life. She is not a saint but she got to this position because of the manipulation from that one guy and Sovieshus actions. She really wanted to be like a sister to the empress and couldn't see what was wrong with the whole situation. A lot of people just want to hate on her alone but the true selfish one is Sovieshu.
