I'll make this very quick unlike usual because I honestly do not have much to say.
The art is decent, a bit wonky in terms of consistancy but oh well. Still good. :) The characters might not be everybody's cup of tea (because I am aware people cannot handle ACTUAL mental problems or traumatized characters and their behavior), but I can assure you that both the MC and his lover are pleasant all across the board, nothing toxic or too worrisome. I DO however find their characters a bit too shallow in a way, I wish we would have seen more detail to their personalities, habits, likes/dislikes, quirks and such, that would have made them perfect since it adds more depth.
Now, for the only fault I could find; the feel of missing panels. There is a constant issue that broke my immersion because for some reason in almost EVERY chapter, there are moments in which I suspected there be panels missing but I think that is not the case and the author simply didn't do a good job at 'jumping info' with it all being smooth or simply ADDING info that would have cost maybe a panel with max 2 speech bubbles. Again, this issue is a constant throughout the ENTIRE comic. Which was a bit bothersome for me and it kept me from being fully engaged in the story because I had to fill in the missing parts in my mind before reading smoothly again, only to have it rinse and repeat. Often multiple times in a chapter. Definitely something they need to fix in their next work.
Considering the second season got dropped, I almost have the suspicion of the author not really being into this story. That would also explain the careless, obvious and annoying mistake of the 'missing panel' feel. But that's just my guess.
Either way, the story is pleasant, interesting and so are all characters, but it felt a bit mild altogether. Which is perfectly fine since these kinda stories are nice too once in a while. Not everything needs to be a rollercoaster. XD
Anyway, worth a shot, but don't get your hopes up to see Eleven or the big brother get their part since the second season was cancelled. I was really interested in those characters getting their happy part. :/
Recommended as a mild-themed read. Kinda casual slice of life, if you so will. With lotsa smut to make it worth your while. Give it a try and let it simmer.
