That would have been your reality if you were born a few hundred years ago. Humans didn't live long at that time the overall life expectancy is short. Hence people start getting married as early as 15 and they didn't mind about age gap that much. It's all about talent and things you could do back then
People were engaged young, but they were married to their own age group though. Age gap as wide as this has been frowned upon too before that's why it wasn't normalized and abolished in todays age. But I understand what you're saying, still weird to me because I'm looking it with a modern eyes. I'll just convince myself that the MC is spiritually 33 yrs old, or the former King is actually younger and he just adopted his son - the King, or maybe there is another ML idk
Oh the king his is own son. The same logic with getting married young I guess. He married his first wife young and had his son. She died and he married another one. But he is mature enough now to understand that his young self did not know how to handle is wives and got what he deserved.
I appreciate the update. I dropped this after saying they'll get married. Maybe because I'm near the ML's age and I have lots of younger siblings with the same age as the FL, I just find this uncomfortable. Thanks haha
