sometimes i wonder if the reason why authors put some scenes on side stories even if it's relevant and still canon in the main one is because they don't have to follow the main story's schedule so they'll have more time to rest and maybe also because of the limit of panels and pages in the platform they're uploading to cuz I'm also confused on why don't just put in the mauone.
To be honest, the only reason I can think of when author's do this is if the company really set a stringent timeline when the webtoon will end. If there's not enough space in the main story, maybe it's the reason why they use the side stories. But that's just my hunch
But I'm pretty happy that the side stories the author has prepared are full of wholesome moments. Because there seems to be an uptick of bl stories where the side stories are still full of misunderstanding and fights like damn... just include that in the main story instead of side stories.
