I don’t think the age gap matters when she basically brainwashed him. It’s not like he wanted to enter a relationship with her, he just had no choice.
She didn't force him to drink it, she literally retracted her initial intention and he drank it himself.
She didn’t tell him what it was after the fact though, and just continued responding to his affection even though she knew it was artificial.
Him drinking the love potion isn’t her fault, but everything that comes after 100% is.
Do yall really think her concoction of substitutions was REALLY a love potion? it had none of the actual ingredients. And with the comedic tone of the story, I’m assuming it was fake and he’s “acting” like he drank her love potion. Whether that’s because he Actually like her or he’s wary of her due to his friends warnings and is investigating her under this pretense is still unknown ╮(￣▽￣)╭
