Yes, the manhwa is different from the novel. For instance in the novel, Edith was in the basement, not in like an outside shed like in the manhwa.
She was also more heavily beaten than what was shown here.
Novel Spoilers ahead:
"My shoulder was so sore I wondered if I’d dislocated it, as were my wrists, which were bound, and my back and neck, which had been bent for so long.
Of course, the places where Sophia had beaten me, like my face, forearms, and thighs, throbbed, sending intermittent sharp pains with every movement I made."
"I’m dying, really. Well, I guess I better get out of here first, right?’
I managed to pull myself up, shakily clutching onto a chair.
But even taking a single step was excruciatingly painful.
Apparently, Sophia hadn’t been at full strength when she hit me in the mansion"
**she was in the basement for like 6/7hours
And not only that but she believes Killian was a part of her being abaonded there****
"So the meaning of abandoning me like this was clear.
‘You don’t need me anymore?’
I suddenly broke down, remembering how I had tried so desperately to win a piece of Killian’s heart."
Nor only that but Killian also returned with his father and then he found out about Edith being a "spy"
Here is more on the brusing on her body
"But the bruises and wounds from Shane and Sophia’s beating were still horrible, and I had to cover my face with a scarf even indoors."
In case you want to know, before she even buys a map like in this recent chapter, in the novel she actually buys this like a day or two after the kidnapping/her escape.
So they changed that too
can someone tell me what the manhwa is missing from the novel like are people exaggerating or is it really missing that much
