I think he was invited to Egypt, he brought his army to aid I guess Isis (not sure) while Horus and Seth were having their duel thingy. Now he's just hanging around I guess. At some point he found Seth and bought him as a slave, then he disappeared for a few chapters, now he's here again. Omg maybe someone will explain it better and remind me too haha

I think they were calling him a "foreign god" so no one really knows where he's from. He's just a foreign god from a foreign land with a foreign look and a foreign mentality...

Isis made a deal with him to come and defeat Seth as Plan B, in case Horus lost the match. However, Maat found out, "intercepted" this guy and struck a new deal: that as long as he doesn't interfere with Egypt, he could consult Thoth to give him the info he needs to solve some trouble back home (Thoth has premonitions about the future). Right now, he's looking for Thoth's temple.

That might be because Thoth can't have access his premonitions anywhere else but inside his own temple...

Although it's true that they've never disclosed where he's from (I'm on chapter 146 so bare with me okay), it's highly likely he's a greek god. I'm not like, a nerd on Greek and Egyptian mythology, but I did start looking around to see what god he could be. Unfortunately, his powers are little too vague as of now to accurately make a testament of who he could represent, but I don't think he's a big shot.

However, it's highly likely he's greek, because he does make an off-handed mention that beards are highly attractive where he's from, which would be in line with Ancient Greece. Also when he's first introduce with his ships, we see non-human looking people. Could be Sirens or Nymphs.

Greece is also one of the only places near Egypt with a very prominent mythology off the top of my head. AND the Ennead and Greek Gods have overlapped before.

With, I believe (from memory - take this with a fat grain of salt) Aphrodite did fuck around in the Ennead a little bit, (even sometimes being merged with imagery of Hathor and Isis) and there was also a shared god between the Greeks and Egyptians called Serapis.

Basically, Greek and Egyptian gods have overlapped, so Jesus-guy is very likely to be Greek God. However, we know that the author isn't against gender-bending gods (like Ra), so the Greek Goddesses are up as candidates as well.

My guess is he's Calypso, as his behaviour and reasoning for chasing Seth is very similar to how Calypso treats Odysseus in the Odyssey, but who knows
