I can see why you thought that. But i look forward to shirone's origins. Theres not been a single hint of who his parents are, and due to his features i'd say he's of noble origin, like royal blood etc. Or who knows he might actually be some divine creature. Or his parents are the divines. Seriously. When is an origin drop gonna happen? Im itching for it already.

Because Erina died with alpheas knowledge and intelligence maybe she got his light magic too. And then if she was reincarnated in Shirone, that would explain how a supposedly commoner can use magic. Also he has Erinas emotional insight and blue eyes, and alpheas genius for light magic and he looks just like young alpheas
