WHAT HAPPENS??

Okay so, from what i remember....

The end of the novel is that Edith survives and live happily with her man, but also they forgive Lize bc “they think she’s can change once she’s starts seeing them as people and not as book characters” and she’s like “that’s right, I can change my ways, I don’t have to be sweet Lize anymore” ... but she never had to pretend to be sweet Lize to begin with, she’s literally tortured multiple Ediths and tried to kill this one while enjoying it, that’s on her (⊙…⊙ ) but they forgive her? Nah
As for Cliff, here it’s shown that he’s the one the author has more control over since he’s the ml, but in the novel it’s revealed that he actually does everything out of his own volition, and that he knows Lize is a freaking psycho but still loved her, so he wanted to help her do everything she wanted - even framing and trying to kill Edith. So there’s literally no reason for these two to have a happy ending.
Then in the side stories, maybe the author received some backlash bc of them getting a happily ever after despite being POS , so Lize actually doesn’t change and end so up in jail (can’t rememver why, fraud? Idk) and it turns out that Cliff all of a sudden actually was under a spell still (so stupid and random) and then he marries another random girl ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Literally like she us just way too nice to let it go, she should have gone no contact either the whole fam even those old hags I don't like them
I wish they change the stories ending bc in the novel it really sucked ass. I need Lize and Cliff biting the curb in 4K
