If my understanding is correct, the elf said the only one who can copy and upgrade other crtl power without killing the other owner is only ctrl C but let me re-read this one part again i might misread and misunderstood it

Same, I remember the elf saying he could copy the ctrl skills and upgrade them (which makes perfect sense since his skill is literally copy and paste) but I became so confused when the skill panel said he had to kill the girl to get ctrl z. I hope it will get explained in the future and it could be possible he just isn't proficient in his skill yet or he hasn't unlocked some sort of hidden requirement to copy them or something.

Isn't that why that evil guys is killing Ctrl holders? I think he killed one to get Ctrl skill. And it doesn't make sense if that unique abilities can copy without the original holder's death. It's a unique so there should be only one who can use it
Yeah the guy with the elf is killing all the other ctrl users so he can get their skills. Only reason why it's pretty confusing is because in chapter 14 the elf said "The only way to obtain the skill and evolve it without killing the target is... 'ctrl+c' is the only way", which should mean that mc should be able to copy the other ctrl skills too.
Maybe it's just like MC's copying and evolving one. He can copy and evolve that sword skill and other core abilities, but not the Ctrl skill.

The setting is ridiculous making him another victim of bullying as a defective hunter makes no sense. Obviously, as the dark mage guild leader pointed, an absolute power bank can only be absolutely priceless (think energy crisis). Any guild should have invested in making him grow as much as possible, as the biggest power are also the one who consumes the most. It might not make much difference for small things, but is so ridiculous essential for huge spells, the story makes no sense
What the hell? I thought he can copy the girl power but he can't now? Why? They say crtl c is the only one who can copy every ctrl power without killing them but now he can't even copy the Weakest holder of them all without explanation and to get it by killing the holder now really? I'm confuse now...
