he probably wasn't loved properly. as you can see, kid cirrus was normal normal not until he found out that he can fight for himself. due to the neglect, he started going on crazy methods because he's fighting for something (his father's acceptance/regaining their bond) but i guess he picks it up from people who he grew up with so i wouldn't really blame him. he started changing because he finally found someone similar to him, someone that accepts him for who he was but i guess you can't remove the fact that he was warped to someone crazy because in a world full of crazy people, never be the normal one.
Probably, more like yes. He def grew up with lack of affection, he became crazy and even yelled at the bird in the cage and wanted the bird to look at him, he just wanted someone to look at him.
Due to the father’s abusive ass and the stepmother’s abusive ass, he became someone we disliked— manipulative and asshole with abandonment issues, struggling with self esteem and just literally wants someone to love him forever.
bpd imo. i have bpd and its exactly the same. thing with bpd is that LOTS of em develops bpd bc of what happened in their childhood, most likely a bad parent, alcoholic parent, etc .. he’s scared of being alone so he does everything in his powers to just by skylar’s side : his fp. he also have all the symptoms a borderline person have like impulsive thoughts, his actions are dangerous to others and himself etc..
yes !!!! ive never seen a bpd ppl who had a good childhood lmao and so basically, cirrus will keep doing bad things like throwing a can at skylar or lying etc if he don’t seek help and don’t go see a therapist. thanks god he doesn’t have any suicidal/sh thoughts/behaviours or anything truly dangerous to himself cuz bpd patients mostly have these kinda thoughts and behaviours :((((
i mean .. even tho the author hasn’t confirmed anything yet cirrus clearly shows all the bpd symptoms, and when he has red eyes that means he’s in a bpd episode, just like last chapter when he beat up dog shit. i know not every traumatized person has bpd but look : when you have bpd you’re most likely gon have a fp, a favourite person. cirrus’ fp is skylar, and he can do / give wtv skylar wants him to do for him not to leave and abandon cirrus.
so yes he’s a lonely sad child but he’s been growing this mental illness for so long and i’m like 100% sure he has bpd, he literally is bpd coded. coming from a person who has bpd.
I saw it more of as him seeking control, but I also agree that he wanted to be NEEDED by someone, not abandoned and useless/incompetent.
The control that he felt was stripped away from his parents, his manipulative stepmother. He sought control, in harmful ways. He knew it was wrong but couldn’t help himself.
are we reading the same thing? Cirrus lost his mother when he was 8, his dad neglected him and tossed him to an abusive step mother, Cirrus was constantly bullied because his mother died resulting to him pushing a kid off the staircase. do we also forget when Cirrus literally said that "adults are beings that are always in control but you can be someone they cannot control" not the exact quotation but it's the same thing. and when he met Skylar, he literally said "I didn't know there was someone who is more helpless than me" and actively blackmailed and took advantage of Skylar. We can also see that he was abandoned by his dad when he as a CHILD. he does have a trauma about being abandoned but he doesn't have it on everyone (referring to the fear of abandonment) it only happens on people he truly treasures like his dad or Skylar. so it's more on fear of abandonment as in general not the bpd type of fear of abandonment. him begging Skylar to stay are a trauma response because his dad left him!
you're saying he's not crazy but proceeds to say he has bpd not knowing that people with bpd are mostly classified as crazy people due to their obsessive nature, impulsive actions leading to self harm or even harm other people, doing anything by that i mean anything to keep someone by their side due to their fear of abandonment.
Cirrus might show fear of abandonment but it's not applicable to anyone. Secondly, he knows what he's doing and I've never recall Cirrus disorienting his self-image, in fact, he masks his actual self by copying chan il as a whole. "I figured that you can just pretend to have a perfect childhood" he did what was necessary to SURVIVE because he was alone.
Its his abandoment issue, ptsd…. He pushes people away when he feels a bit unwanted. Better do it before them. I think i relate to that. To that side of his that will ruin his relationships. I dont think its ego. When did he want to see Skylar helpless? His own friends welcomed Skylar….. i know that people who arent like him wont get him. But he is the character we know the best, the one we know the past and most secret inner thoughts. Thats why its easier to judge him.
He isnt crazy and he might not have bpd. Or at least we cant be sure. You can understand him if you just have empathy, or at least a good emotional intelligence. Is it that weird to see how a person who was always abandoned, fear he will be left and act sometimes extremely to avoid that??? Skylar was partly right, him being unloved as a child did create a void in him
Is it BPD or he was never loved properly? I guess we will never know
