Yeah basically. She has to give up and accept her death by returning to the dukedom to get the original ending. Something the author doesn’t think she’s capable of doing since she’s always fought to survive. And ig cuz most run away from death

Not sure what chap but yea, it’s just accepting death not actually having to die. It should happen within the next couple chapters… depends on how long they want to drag out this running away thing

But even if she did accept her death, in the novel, she didn't die in the end and Killian solved everything afterwards
