Well it's a bit irrational since it's very emotional response, but it makes sense, coming from her experience in the past life she's now traumatized of losing her daughter again. Her character has always been impulsive which also caused the neglect and alcohol abuse in the past. She did horrible things to Lyrica but she's truly reflecting on them now, which is a good thing. I like to see broken relationships being repaired again.
Plus Lyrica is such a sweet angel, it fills my heart with joy seeing her finally recieving the attention, love and care she always deserved ┗( T﹏T )┛
Yes I do believe Lyrica deserves the world too! Especially working so hard.
girl, he's still a stepfather though any parent can abuse a child, of course she's wary of any "secrets" between them. Magic is dangerous, and he just gave what she thought was a dangerous magical artifact to her child. She may seem powerful now, but she knows how vulnerable she really is. It would be so easy for the emperor, a literal mythical creature to take advantage of her and her child.
The mother tripping out over Lyrica not telling her anything is stupid especially her being abusive in the past. Lyrica has the right to keep something from her regardless if she was a good mother or not (unless it's something that does need to be spoken out abt) a child can share something with their father w/o sharing it with their mother or whoever.
Like I see her trying to be a good mother (I still don't like her) but she does it shamelessly if you know it what I mean— love bombing(?) and being very protective, but thats just guilt. And personally idk how she thought the King demanded or ordered Lyrica to stay quiet bc of something? To me it's seemed out of the blue...
