Like seriously, the bomb threat was 30 chapters ago, Twilight nearly beefing it to Wheeler ended less than 20 chapters ago, and Anya's journey to a Stella and her dance with Damian was less than 10 chapters ago. With Martha and Henry's backstory immediately following that.
Its clear that there is a pretty structured major event about every 10 chapters.
Im sorry, we did not just get done with a super heavy plotline about the horrors of war and what we sacrifice in the face of it for y'all to complain that "there is no plot any more" or even to say "its a slow burn". Do not do Martha and Henry dirty like that.
Y'all just think its slow because you have to actually wait in between chapters now. This is the samn pace its been at for a while. The whole structure is smaller, more comedic or entirely comedic, subtle in their development chapters sandwiched between big action arcs to break up the pacing. It's always been that way.
It can't be all Twilight all the time. The point is how these characters all have varying lives, and how they are all living as best they can, and how Twilight, Yor, and Anya's efforts protect them.
