You hit the nail on the head! I thought Valia was gonna bring it up at the end, but didn't. Maybe she'll do it in the next chapter, but if she doesn't, then that would be a huge mistake. Everyone was a literal witness to the girl telling on herself and also her brother. Despite that one asshole Priest telling her and stirring the pot, her getting that other Priest involved in this scheme of her and her brother (and AT HER MOTHER'S FUNERAL AT THAT) should be grounds for her losing her position as the whore...I mean mistress...of the second prince.
Okay, time out. So, when the Saintess confronted the Priest and he recanted his statement, you mean to tell me nobody--not even Shu--caught what Whorenie, I mean Carnie, said?? "Priest!
