Maybe he’s abandoning him for nux sake? So that he doesn’t die this time
I think it said many chapters ago that it was cuz he was caught by his government or something before he could, but tbh I don't remember the justification well enough
But hey hear me out! Doesn't Owen go back to the past when Nux actually dies? So why's he trying something else this time? I mean Nux is perfectly time but he just chose to abandon him ... Or am I just forgetting a detail from too much new information?
