I mean the whole point of the drama was how the person goes back to their world. They couldn't keep them in the other world as much as I wanted them to. But we still kind of got a happy ending for the leads in the historical world. And the side stories just made me satisfied

She wants to go back to her world coz it's HER world, irrespective of how bad her actual life was, it's her own. She didn't know she just bets on the fact that maybe he can follow. She has her doubts that maybe he couldn't come through. You should definitely read it. It may not have romance as it's strong point but the FL is really smart and strong and the story is so much more different than your normal isekai where the lead just makes peace with the new world. It has the characters act like ACTUAL people. It's a good read

This read reminds me of this kdrama - Mr queen, it's one of those isekai where the lead tries to go back to their actual world rather than making peace with their current situation even though they have it bad in their actual world. (Also it's A HILARIOUS drama, like hold ur stomach and laugh type). Must watch
