Kid Abel probably wouldnt have survived getting mauled by the young prince. Also being a regas takes years of training, so it wouldnt make sense for Abel to be a kid. It would also not make sense for Abel to be a kid, cause regas are basically there to well, do the smexy smex with the king to like calm their dragon blood. The prince only got a regas early cause as you can see, he was batshit crazy. Basically being a regas isnt a young kid's job.

The prince cant be an adult cause they start feeding royalty poison before they can even reach adulthood. So he would have been already like the king, all drugged up and ready to become their puppet. Cause nobody was actually willing to help him before Abel, he had to meet Abel when he was younger so Abel can charm people into wanting to protect him.

Also theres a reason why Abel looks like that. He had to look like how regas commonly looks not only to create as much contrast from his previous appearance to create drama but also because of the curse surrounding the nobles that defied the dragon's blood. Each and every one of the noble's who seeks to gain control of the dragon's descendants were cursed, and Abel will use that curse to his advantage in the future.

If you actually change their age and appearance, a huge chunk of the plot will go ka-poof. So its not really a mistake on the author's part. Basically, if it happened the way you wanted it to, it will basically be a different story.

Just shows you didnt understand the story while you were reading. There's already a hint from prev chapters as to why Abel is reaincarnated in the way he looks now. It was already mentioned that Duke Truyde has that "fetish" for fragilistic twinkilicious blond haired + green eyed regas. Plus it is also his family's curse to fall in love with the Emperor's Regas. So seeing Abel's new look means he is not reincarnated like that just for the sake how ukes should look like. SamK's works are really good and so far all the ukes are strong willed and tough looking (December, Payback, Half of me..)

I do get that the way he looks and how he reincarnated is tied to the story and makes sense, but, just cuz it's for the plot doesn't really mean I will like it. And like I said before, the story and art is literally chef kiss, but it's hard to continue when the characters don't interest you anymore. :3

ISTG, WHILE READYING THE CHAPTER WERE ABEL DIES , WHEN I CLICKED TO LOOK AT THE NEXT CHAPTER AND SAW HOW MAH MAN TURNED BLOND FRAGILE UKE, I LEGIT YELLED "THEY MADE HIM INTO A TWINK" while crying cuz my emotions from the previous chapter/ page wasn't done processing.

Oh i didnt comment that for you to like it, i just commented cause you said it seems like the author was trying to fix an issue they created when in reality it was intentional from the beginning. Ive read the novel and its a well thought out plot. But just because a story is good doesnt mean everyone has to like it. You do you boo.

Did you even read what i said correctly ? I didn't say it was a mistake nor talked about abel's appearance, just that the author wrote his death as a way fo fix their age gap when that's something they chose to establish. What you commented literally proves my point. Also, they're the writer, they could've figured out a way to make their relationship less creepy.
