I mean...? Not defending or anything, but I think I was more about what that scene symbolized? Yes, it's rape, but it was also revenge sex. JJ didn't give any time for Leo to say anything, to voice his opinion, and used him like a sex toy - just like how Leo used him, even if it was unintentional. This story is more about what happens when people don't communicate and talk about their feelings in a relationship, and the toxic things that can come with that. Not a defense, just an explanation for the scene in my humble opinion.
It's rape, and it's supposed to make you upset. It made Leo insanely upset. But that's the point. This scene, regardless of how it was portrayed, was a huge moment and turning point for them and the story that drove it forward. You're supposed to feel icky and say " WHY DONT THEY COMMUNICATE" because that's how any sane person would react, but there are real people out there that do this.
Nah, it's just insane to me how easy it is for authors to let seemingly well-fleshed out characters immediately resort to rape just cause their partner does not communicate with them. As I have said, it is soooo unnecessary and it just makes it distasteful that they'll end up with each other in the end.
Also, I don't even know if the author will ever let the main characters realize and acknowledge that what happened was rape and make sense how the two of them we'll go from there. I really hope they won't brush it off as some angry sex or whatever.
up lover's quarrel between them if only the rape part didn't happen... I'll just pretend it didn't take place so I can enjoy what's left to enjoy of this webtoon. Man... the story didn't really need THAT to happen for the story to move forward. Why do author's think it's like a mandatory thing to include in a BL story.
