I think one of the requirements is having mana circuit, enough mana even for regular civilians but in his case, he doesn't have any..
OH! I forgot about this! So he wasn't just being stubborn / it wasn't just becuase he was attached to remaining a mercenary
I seriously have no idea why he didnt decide to sign up as an adventurer as well.. and like i guess the adventure system here allows for just abyone to join in??
