Yes, even hawon felt sorry for him a little, when he was in the villa with him (he was having a nightmare I think) he told him before that the reason for what he was going through was because of his grandfather and hawon's father, as far as I remember there is a story for that....
and even after that there were some meetings as if nothing happened even hawon didn't show hatred either .....
until the end nothing happened to him his shares increased and he became the president ...
even in the side story when he appeared as a customer and played with hawon and others (before hawon resigned), there was no tension but hawon said that it was the first time he had fun out of all the times he met him, and after some talk he told him that he is not his type and hawon said goodbye to him with his middle finger I remember that because it was funny..
Anyway, isn't this strange? It's not like he's a third party, hawon never loved him or felt anything towards him or even thought about him as it is clear in the novel..
his presence was annoying and added some tension, and maybe because hawon doesn't care about him at all so he just ignores it...

What I mean is that Taeha changed completely after realizing his love for Hawon and in the side stories you will see that clearly..
