I’m so confused on what’s going on

Summary:
Omega failed exams and alpha don’t wanna leave the country, there’s a newly wed benefits program (cuz stress hav birthrates low) that basically says once your a new married couple you can get free scholarship.

Alpha and omega legally marries for benefits but u gotta prove that ur rlly married and not just doin it cuz, so u can keep the benefits. They do that with point system on wrist band (not sure how that works, probs pheromones) Sex etc ensues cuz omega can control pheromones well and that has the highest amount of points.

There’s scandal and rumors galore bout alpha being the cause of somebody suicide, selling sex, being a whore etc. omega finds out there’s just this one guy spreading lying and it all then alpha steps in when omega gets caught.
