I didn't know that hating older manhwa is a trend nowadays, just like those fake Naruto fans hating on Sakura when they never read the manga version. Look if you want to look for a love advise, green flag manhwa, this is not for you because you're gonna complain and give low rating, I didn't know what was the need for to add this in your library and still be updated

Reading is supposed to be enjoyable, why are you guys questioning everyone's taste and when you're called out about it, you're quick to hide into the sentence you always misused "so we can't share our opinion?"

Well You can share your opinion Karen but you only spouts hates and why do you even need to type "why is everyone reading this?"

Guess what, we're human, we're not program to like the same thing, if you like jinx, we don't care, if you like fantasy marry sue character, we don't care, but when we like a certain manhwa like this, you turn straight 90° and spouts hate??? You like champagne and roses we literally don't care, that manhwa is 10× worse than this so I don't get why you're questioning why we like this

So let me ask the same question: What was the hype in reading black flag manhwa?

Then comments will say I'm the bad guy for calling you out, but I stand on what I said. Some of you can be really hypocrite to other people and then you're quick to dodge the bullet just to make yourself seem like the victim of being called out

They're just looking for validation, they'll (hopefully) grow out of it.

I do notice it being more common for, I assume to be young people, to dislike anything they perceive to be "toxic", though, and needing to express their opinion on it.

Anyway, they'll learn one day to seperate fiction from reality and that people can enjoy different things.

Anyone with a working brain can see the red flags in fiction and realise that you should definitely not be ok with this if it were in real life... and if not, they really shouldn't be reading things like this.

Truth, it's relaxing to know I'm not the only one, they have been repeating this behavioral pattern and it's noticeable that when someone criticized the manhwa, they are quick to copy and paste the perception of other user

Don't worry, the majority of readers are like this.

It's just the vocal minority screeching about 'problematic fiction', because, idk, o noes, save the pixels/imaginary characters/children(???)!1!!1

I can assure you the silent majority just read or stop reading things they dislike and go on with their life. (Would be me, but I feel inclined to comment once in a blue moon). (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

When fictional works that are obviously questionable exist, people who hate and like it will coexist. They will complain and others will shower it with praise. Learn to ignore that if you really like the work.
If you were talking about some other manhwa which is controversial but also just a matter of taste, I would have understood. But I don't really need to point out why people don't like this. Although yes, repeatedly saying the same things a million other people have won't really change anything, a comment section exists for a reason. This isn't really a debate forum, it's an illegal site. Opinions differ yours or mine, and it will be expressed.

What I'm trying to say is:

Why do they need to question people's taste like are they forcing us to dislike a manhwa??

Sure they can share their dislikes, we have no problem but the problem I'm trying to say is that they keep asking "WHY DO PEOPLE EVEN READ THIS?" Like are they forcing us to like the same thing they're reading?

Idc what their beef with a story, they can dislike or hate a character but instead of just saying that they dislike the manhwa, they keep coming back here to hate on the people reading this like what have we done wrong??

We know and we are aware that mc got grape in early chapters and that literally did not mean that we will excuse grape in reality and yet they made it seem like we're not then they continue to spout nonsensical hate on us

The issue isn't having a negative opinion on a work of fiction, it's people saying things like: people who like x are terrible human beings and immoral and need to go to a therapist or be locked up. Oddly enough, these types of comments are pretty common nowadays.

Of course people can dislike things and comment on it, but immediately assuming anyone who does like something toxic is a criminal? Yeah, not cool.

And even then, I personally think it's strange. It's like walking into a casino while you hate gambling, and then you tell everyone in the casino they'll go to hell because they're gambling.

Just move on if you dislike something and don't spoil the fun for others.

But then again, I'm asking for decency on the internet, I guess I'm too much of an idealist ( ̄∇ ̄")
