im not a novel reader, but i read the chapters where her abuse gets exposed. its gen different in the novel. i just think its a shame bec its the one scene where all of ruby's resentment and shame for her brother explodes. she tried so hard to hide it from iz, and completely gave up theres a lot more monologue between her and ceasar. when you read it you can see how vunerable the scene is, unlike the manhwa pov, it just makes it seem like she got "caught" you cant rlly blame novel readers for feeling a way, bec this is basically the most pivotal part of the story.
Im not a novel girly so I dont fully understand what the novel readers feel about this but I think we should stop comparing the novel to the manhwa like expecting it to be as detailed as the novel. Its like when you compare a manga and the anime adaption where there are also parts of the anime which is changed/different from the manga. I think its pretty normal for novels > manhwa/manga or manhwa/manga> anime to change parts of the story
