Fucking dipshit, it doesn't matter what reincarnation tragic bullshit sunbitch went through. He purposely encouraged hosik to drink, to him somewhere private to have his way with him even tho he was practically out of it and couldn't remember anything in the morning sick. Then pressured the hell out of him to have the baby plus more bs. Reread the story and stop sucking his dick so hard
Whew!! Someone said it!! You can like the story all you want, but you can't erase that Seungyeon raped Hosik while Hosik was inebriated and couldn't give consent. He locked him up, withheld his clothes, and proceeded to rape him again, and finally when Hosik was crying to leave forced him to suck him off, so Hosik could leave. THEN he forced his obsessiveness into Hosik's life by forcing him to carry the baby to term, forcing him to marry him, and trying isolate him away from his friends (or anybody with a mild interest in Hosik). I do not care that in his previous lives/memories of Hosik things didn't work out for them. This life should have been different!! SA isn't how you start a relationship!! I am not trying to be holier than thou -- I read obsessive MLs and rape related BLs, but I don't sugarcoat the main MLs behavior. I call it out and I won't pretend it didn't happen unlike some readers of this story. Just because they ended up together or are star-struck lovers, doesn't mean Seungyeon's behavior wasn't any less deplorable. Having tragic backstory doesn't undue the SA that happened.
This story was such a trap for me. Cute art style so I thought....hmm, cute story? Noooo and all i have to ask is why? The author had to make it sooo problematic for no reason and the story acts like he did nothing wrong and Seungdumb never truly gets punished for his actions. And poor Hosik, had his life suddenly warped to fit the seme's will. Tracked him with a GPS, banned him from going to school and was too forceful with the sex. I stayed became I wanted some uwu family time but instead I get this psychological warfare about a man that was going to do anything to get the uke, even if that meant forcing him into a life that he WASN'T prepared for in the the first place. My only question is why? Why write it like this at all? I'm not a genius writer but all you had to do was make Hosik a little bit more certain of himself and Seungshit less forceful.
That's it!! I knew that there was something else that was bothering me about this story other than the rape. It was the lack of punishment for Seungshit's actions. From the rape, to the stalking, to the forced pregnancy, to the marriage, to the isolation, he never once faces any sort of sanction or chastisement from anybody around him. Not his friends and definitely not his parents. It's like all his actions were justified in tying Hosik to him.
I, too, continued reading this story, despite knowing better, but I liked the friend Jiwoo and Hosik's Dad, who seems to be the only one who cared about Hosik's feelings and wants. Hosik barely left Seungyeon after one fight before he was manipulated into returning and gaslit into thinking he was overreacting. And still Seeungyeon didn't think he was wrong or accept any sort of correction to his behavior. He just said words he didn't mean. Poor Hosik, from the outside it looks like he's done well: rich husband, maids, huge house, and beautiful family, but all at the cost of his freedom. He's forever trapped in that flowery garden...with a maniac.
First of I don’t understand the hype for this story. The literal only reason they are together is because the male lead took advantage of him while he was obviously very drunk. Aka rape if you are to scared to say it. He has gas lit, stalked, and forced himself. The only reason he can get away with is because he is conveniently attractive. Even in the historical flash backs he’s a fucking dick
