Well, the context clues…what other reason would the pope lead the boy to the bedroom? It’s not like the boy is sickly or would need it and if he did, he had his own room. The pope was rather eager about it, too. Not to mention,… correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t he reaching for the ass or was that just playing with perspective?
Those things combined…gives the reader a sick feeling tbh and just want to burn the one that caused it aka the pope
Tbh I thought that pope (when with the kid) was just a weird grandpa who looks scary and the kid is just scared of his face.
I thought they were bonding but the pope just had a scary face that the kid was scared, but ig they did bond in a different way
