I completely agree with you. Sometimes that’ll happen in a manga and I end up not liking them bc I was so focused on the main couple’s drama and it would cut to the side couple being happy and flirting. Like I don’t wanna read that right now. And the thing is I want to like the second couple but they just feel like a hinderance.
Can i just say how much i hate this format of webtoon mangas where it is normal to focus on second couple in the middle of things with the first couple?? Like in traditional japanese mangas, the author usually will explore other couples in the side story! Or even make a whole spin off based on that. AND I PREFER IT THAT WAY BCS I WANT THE STORY TO FOCUS! The first couple is in the midst of something important and i had to postpone just to read whatever the other couple do??? It is good if i like the second couple, but what if i dont? What if i dont careeeee? Like the feeling of having a new chapter but it totally skipped the first couple story is agony lol like i decide to read this for the main premises so why i need to go thru other premises that had nothing to do w the main one? Idc this format is so very stupid and one of the reason why till now, even after reading so many titles of both webtoon format and convensional manga, i still prefer the later.
