A little correction... jiwoo you mentioned, maybe you mean Jiho?
I'm definitely not hating on Jiho, I'm frustrated by him. The way he express his concern to his partner is way off. There's no communication, that's first. He does things on his own accord like setting up meeting a d giving contact information without informing Inwoo or getting his permission. And this actually made Inwoo so uncomfortable, mad, and sad.
Second, there's no understanding there. He doesn't even try to understand how hard it is for Inwoo to be left alone with his abusive father by his mother when he was still a child, this incident also made him to lose his tasting ability due to huge trauma. Don't you get it? Even all the readers are angry at Inwoo's mother for being selfish, but his lover, doesn't seem to mind that. In Jiho's mind, it was "his mother doesn't mean to do that" and "she must have loved him". Not "how can she do this to his own child and dare to sjow up now after neglectong him for xx years!!". He's not wrong, his mother really do love him. But she doesn't love him enough to take him with her when she ran away from that house. She knew how abusive the father is but LEFT her son with that abusive men. Jiho never thought that far, probably never asked Inwoo's feeling that far to get enough context either.
Because if he is, he should be the most frustrated one. He should be the most angry at his mother for doing such things to his lover, his most loved ones.
We never hate Jiho for trying to do things for Inwoo. I personally hated Jiho for not understanding Inwoo's feelings, loneliness, and insecurities, that leads him to make a bad decision. For further context, "I did it for your sake" is not always the right thing to do. Inwoo felt uncomfortable instead because Jiho did it the wrong way. It was the same as a parent saying "I did it all for your sake" by forcing their child to study 16 hours a day without proper rest or playing time, for example. You get what I mean?

Why are y'all hating towards Jiwoo and some on Inwoo? I'm not digesting it. Ain't Jiwoo's action shows his concern for his lover and hope that Inwoo would also take another step from the past to finally get over the trauma? Although I get it that some are frustrated about how Inwoo's decision is kind of cowardly (I'm not taking his trauma lightly, just haven't find the right word for it) for not facing the root of the problem. Like, bruh... This is getting heavy af but where's my crowd to enjoy this rollercoaster with???? Let's hop on!
