I'm absolutely obsessed with this story! I wanna bitch slap my past self for not reading this sooner solely cause it was a manhua, had shounen ai tag and my previous experiences with reading manhuas made me fear the artstyle to be wonky as hell and the plot to be boring af.

The negotiation scene was incredibly hot and well-written, leaving me craving more. The relationship between them is so well paced and captivating. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried - the emotional depth is palpable!

Jin Ye is my ultimate man - his intensity and devotion have me swooning. The plot is engaging and suspenseful, with not a single boring chapter. I was on edge, worried it would end too soon.

The chemistry between them is off the charts! The writing is superb!
"If he's dead, all these people have to die" ughh stawpp- (๑♡⌓♡๑)
"I'll fight with you to the end" this!!>> This is what love is!!

I adore how An Nuo's character embodies self-sufficiency and handles problems independently - the perfect antidote to damsel-in-distress tropes. His stoic yet heartfelt expression of love is soo adorable.

The way Jin Ye was self aware and knew that he was in the wrong for being possessive and controlling of An Nuo!? If you can't make your ml's a green flag then at least give them this kind of self awareness!

It's unfair that this masterpiece concluded in just 41 chapters; the author could've easily stretched it to 100+! It's a shame that exceptional stories like this end quickly, while toxic ones drag on. The author's talent is undeniable!

Manifesting the side chapters now don't care about anything else ಠ‿ಠ
