ikr even in real life most people say "hush now" "don't cry" "it's okay" no it aint tf but ig that's better than what I would say cause I face someone crying cause I don't know how to comfort people. I'll just stand there staring or leave to give the crying person space

Y'all don't know just how frustrated I've gotten reading all these stories where the MLs always try to comfort their partner by saying "don't cry" like huh???? Imo that's one of the worst things one can say in moments when the other is sobbing, I would just get pissed if someone told me that (then again, I did go through an intense period of apathy where I was unable to cry for almost two years even when I wanted to cry. So being told I shouldn't cry when I'm finally able to would make me want to punch them ngl)
Either way, tears are a healthy way of letting out one's emotions! Let people cry, no matter if it's out of joy/relief/sadness/anger, goddammit!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
So this series gets some points from that. I think the scene would've been even better if one of his lines was changed from "I'll make sure you never cry another tear again" to "I'll make sure you only cry tears of happiness from now on", but then again, that may be a bit too romantic and forward for where they are at right now ╮(￣▽￣)╭
