I don't understand the people in the comments who have read the novel and act like the top is the literal devil. I've read up to the fifth volume. Does he do something crazy? Spoilers . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . Like, I get the Hawaii arc was bad, but he's pretty tame after that to where I am. Compared to tops from other stories, he's a saint. He is still obviously mentally ill and has some crazy ass thoughts but separates himself because he knows he might act on it. He apologizes constantly and is a literal human mess without the bottom. I mean, he does snap like when he punched that dude's car window, but he deserved it. He does have insane thoughts, as I stated earlier, so all I can assume is that he acts on them later. I dropped the novel because it was getting a bit boring it's just them being awkward af and apologizing to each other. If he snaps, I might finish it just because I want to know if he warrants all the hate. Or is it because he's cringy af? If that's it, and you are reading this comment and haven't read the novel, he gets worse, so run away while you can. That man's favorite line is telling the bottom he's going to get him pregnant and calling his asshole his p***y, full cringe.
