the asshat northern duke is the villain in the story,, hes actually a fallen archangel that possesed the body of the northern duke (idk what happened to the og duke). He stopped distribution of the medicine under the guise of not trusting fl when actually he wants the world to be destroyed. But this story has a very happy ending for ml and fl tho
so thats why he's super duper annoying
