Digital drawing

I started around 3 years ago, now I'm pretty decent at it. The first thing u wanna do is not sharpening art skills, but to study and experiment on which drawing software/apps u feel most comfy to use!! After that, grab your stylus or finger, grab a reference and a drawing idea, you're good to go

Do you know any good drawing softwares for Android? I don't have an ipad so no procreate for me :(

Hey there are some really cool youtuber artists you can follow to learn from scratch! Marc Brunet is my personal favorite because he covers the fundamentals for absolute beginners but also has stuff for when you advance a bit with your skills! You can also look up stuff for absolute beginners on reddit because a lot of the times people there provide you with resources that are really helpful that aren’t limited to youtube or paid stuff. I usually learned that way as well!

Yess ibis paint x is probably one of the best!

Do you have any experience drawing outside of digital art? Or is drawing going to be completely new for you?

If youre already experienced with art, then i suggest downloading any free/paid program and sticking with it. The programs wont make much a difference, the quality of your work solely depends on your personal skill. Many modern programs will have all the tools you need

If you are new to art entirely, my biggest suggestion is to first have fun with art. Fundamentals are important but i see many new artists treat art like homework and then get burnt out quick. If youre on PC, you can try joining online art rooms and drawing with strangers or friends. Its fun, constructive, and youll rapidly improve all while having fun!

Procreate is where I started on iPad. If you want a free application I suggest “sketchbook”(the app). Don’t by a pen for now, use fingers (I’ve been drawing for 6 years and I still use my finger but later on if you want pen pressure then buy on) but I highly subject procreate.

I am currently using ibis paint x, and it's kinda confusing but works fine. I felt like sketchbook didn't have that many tools?
I also bought a pen but it's super hard to use maybe I'll try to draw with my fingers first.
