It's pretty standard to be cautious though. Miho is still and will always be a powerful being. Someone who can turn back time and change someone's life is not pitiful per se, he does not need help. He's emotionally hurt perhaps but if willed it he can easily get away. The immortals are shit but MC did the right thing at that time. He may look cute but he's not some innocent harmless being. Remember he concealed his real intentions with MC from the start. If we look at it MC nay have gained a lot but he's oblivious to what the consequences will really be. But it's true that I hope they become more honest with each other and become lifelong friends in the end.
so true, both of them is willing anything for their survival, our mc and miho I meant, both completely not trusting each other, but I too hope they'll talk it out, as I see that miho is actually not that bad like other immortal, I'm sure they can make a good deal for both ╥﹏╥
back to ch around 40-45 ish, as much as I love our mc to have his presence be higher than miho since it's his body, I'm sad over miho for being in the dark by both our mc and the immortals, and he's being alienated by the rest of those immortal makes me sadder more, I get the feeling that our mc tried to survived by keeping the high score to himself, but I'm also sad over miho for feeling "betrayed" since he think that our mc is honest to him, I hope both mc and miho can get whatever they wished by the end
