Cesaere did a real number on Ruby in the novel. He threw her against the mirrors several times and ripped out her hair. The novel described that Ruby couldn’t see because her face was drenched in blood from the glass shards.
When Izek finally finds them Cesaere had Ruby by the hair and was about to strike her.
The novel said the whole building was supposed to be shaking from the force of Izek’s sword against Cesaere’s shield.
where did y’all read the novel? please. I'm literally crying in frustration right now.

I think they changed it coz it will not be suitable to be drawn like reading this, it looks so brutal
oof why do i feel like it's supposed to be more graphic and emotional i didn't even read the novel but the way that the manhwa build it up was so good and now.... idk it's so fast ig like it's so unimportant or smth. im so disappointed
